Privacy policy

This site is a static archive of public exam papers. There are no accounts, no logins and no forms. We do not ask you for your name, your school, your results or anything else, and there is nothing here for you to fill in.

What is collected

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which papers people look for. It records pages viewed, rough location by country or city, device type and browser. It does not tell us who you are.

Advertising. Pages may carry Google AdSense advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

Security and delivery. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data including IP addresses to protect against attacks and to serve pages quickly.

We do not sell data, and we have no mailing list to add you to.

Your rights under POPIA

South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. In practice we hold no records that identify you individually. Analytics data is aggregated and we cannot connect it to a person.

To make a request, email info@grade12papers.co.za with "POPIA" in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Children

Many of our visitors are school learners. We deliberately collect nothing that could identify a child. If you believe a child's personal information has somehow reached us, write to us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Some files link to education.gov.za. Once you follow a link off this site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Copyright

The exam papers are published by the Department of Basic Education and remain their work. This site is an index and mirror provided for study use. If you represent the department and want material removed, email us and we will act on it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
